In order to protect the local steel mills by reducing hot rolled steel imported from China, the Indian government announced to impose provisional anti-dumping duties on Chinese hot rolled steel imports on November 3rd for six months.

Due to Indian steel mills accused that Chinese steel mills have threatened to their steel industry and had affected on steel margin of profits, they asked Indian government to impose anti-dumping duties on Chinese hot rolled steel imports.
