The global steel demand was warming up and the confidence of end users is coming back as well.

Asia’s steel market has rebounded. Posc’s hot rolled coils were quoted at FOB US$500/ton to South East Asia, US$30~40/ton higher than Russia’s offer. India’s import price of hot rolled coils was at CFR US$450~470/ton, increased by about US$30/ton as well.

In the EU, ArcelorMittal and Salzgitter plan to raise their flat steel price of quarter three by €20~30/ton. And the new price is likely to be accepted by the local dealers.
