According to the recent data published by the World Steel Association, the crude steel production by Europe´s 28 countries declined by 8.7% March year-on-year. The output by the region totaled 14.124 Million tons.

In March this year, Germany produced 3.811 million tons of crude steel, down by 1.6% year on year, to 3.872 million tons. Poland’s crude steel production was 860,000 tons, compared the production of 818,000 tons during the same month a year before.

Those for Czech Republic, Finland, Netherlands and Poland crude steel production have also increased. On the other hand, the production declined sharply in other countries including France, Greece, Hungary and the UK.
