European rebar market price increased mainly because the scrap price raise and market demand came back.

Another reason was Turkey’s rebar price rise. Now European rebar bid shows a rise trend.

South Europe mills have hiked domestic price and export price of rebar. One Spanish mill offered the price at €400/ton. Rebar price from Greece also increased by €40/ton. East Europe mills keep the price increasing slightly.

Most part of Europe the demand is still very low, it is now known whether the price could be accepted in the market after it turned up.
