China's Chu Kong Petroleum & Natural Gas Steel Pipe Holdings has started to build its first phase of longitudinal submerged arc welded (LSAW) pipe mill with annual capacity of 50 thousand tons in Guangdong province at Zhuhai city.

The first phase construction has begun in middle of January and expected finished during December of 2011.

Besides, the products are aimed on the potential demand of large line pipe created by China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC) for oil & gas transported from the South China Sea and for the construction of Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge built with pipe piles of 50 kilometer-long, source from a company official.
