BHP Billiton announces its nickel West production falls in Q3

According to BHP Billiton production report, in 3rd quarter this year, the company’s nickel production in the West was 18,800 tons, fell 15% year on year, fell 20% month on month.

For fiscal year 2017, the nickel production is expected to grow by about 10%, because of Mt Keith continues to offer high-grade ore, the Leinster production growth and assurance the higher utilization for Kalgoorlie smelter and Kwinana refinery.
