Yieh Phui Enterprise Co., Ltd. (Yieh Phui), a leading coating steel mill in Taiwan, announced the domestic price for galvanized and pre-painted steel products was hiked by NT$500/ton for April and the export price for May was increased by US$10-20/ton, citing stable raw material costs and peak-season demand.

China’s ongoing crude steel output cuts and US 25% tariffs have supported global markets, with US hot-rolled steel prices surging by 35% so far this year. Many of the major Asian producers, including Baowu, China Steel Corporation (CSC), and Hoa Phat, have also raised prices, reflecting renewed confidence.

While trade uncertainties persist, Yieh Phui maintains a stable upward outlook and made a moderate price adjustment for April and May.
