The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) has renewed the license for Vietnam's steel producer Formosa Ha Tinh (FHS) to export its hot-rolled coils (HRCs) and strips to India.

The new license, valid until December 4, 2025, covers specific HRC grades including IS 1079:2017 and HR0, with thicknesses from 1.20mm to 6mm and widths from 900mm to 1560mm.

This renewal came after a prior license extension that was approved in May 2024 and was effective until December 2024.
