China’s steel manufacturer Rizhao Steel has successfully developed a 4.5mm galvanized checker plate. This new product expands its galvanized checker plate offerings, previously limited to thinner gauges, to meet a wider range of market demands.

Using its continuous pickling and galvanizing process, Rizhao Steel maintains high precision, consistent pattern quality, and superior weldability in the new, thicker plate. The company's sales, research, and production teams collaborated to optimize welding, cooling, and coiling processes, enabling the successful trial production.

Tests confirm the new 4.5mm product meets or exceeds industry standards for thickness tolerance, zinc coating weight, and surface quality. This achievement solidifies Rizhao Steel's leading position in the domestic galvanized checker plate market, now covering mainstream specifications from 1.0mm to 4.5mm.
