Yieh Hsing Enterprise Co., Ltd., one of the major wire rod manufacturers in Taiwan, announced the prices for November on October 31. The carbon wire rod increased by NT$1,000/ton. The price of 300 series stainless steel wire rods rose by NT$3,000/ton. The surcharge for 316 products, the 200 series, and the 400 series all kept the same prices this month.

Yieh Hsing said that the prices of raw materials and electricity have hiked. The company finally decided to raise the price for November in order to offset the raw material costs.
