Chhattisgarh extends NMDC's iron ore mining lease

One of the mine leases of National Mineral Development Corporation (NMDC), an Indian official corporation, would be expired in March 2020, while the government of Chhattisgarh, India, announced on November 15th that it would extend the mining lease.

This decision solved the urgent needs of NMDC.

The capacity of iron ore in Chhattisgarh of NMDC had contributed over 70% in the total capacity of NMDC’s iron ore production.

Moreover, the general manager of NMDC allowed paying Rs 6 billion immediately to continue the contract.
