US lowers CVD rate on CRC imports from South Korea

The US Department of Commerce (USDOC) finally confirmed that South Korean cold-rolled coil (CRC) manufacturers Hyundai Steel and POSCO received subsidies during the period of review from July 29th, 2016 to December 31st, 2016.

The final subsidy rate for POSCO was set at 0.55%, Hyundai Steel was subject to 0.58%, and the rate for other South Korean CRC producers and exporters was at 0.57%.

The final subsidy rate was lower than the initial rate of 0.65%-1.73% set by the USDOC in October 2018.
