Yieh Hsing, a member of Taiwan’s E Group, said that they intend put their stainless steel tube mill up for rent. This comes after the planned merger with Yieh United Steel Corporation (YUSCO) was canceled because of problems in getting approval from the Taiwan government. The company said that putting the mill in the Pingnan Industrial area in Pintung, Southern Taiwan, up for rent is the best move to increase its income. The company is also looking to issue new stocks to raise more funds. (Oct. 28)
