Taiwan’s Tang Eng's 304 prices negotiable, 316L surcharge continues to rise

31 Jul 2025 13:50 reported by Joy Liu

A A A
Following Yieh United Steel Corp. (Yusco), Tang Eng Iron Works Co., Ltd. today announced its stainless steel prices for August. As the market anticipated, Tang Eng will determine prices for its 304 hot-rolled and cold-rolled products through negotiation with customers. It is the second consecutive month of negotiated pricing for 304 products.

Additionally, the surcharge for 316L stainless steel is increased by NT$2,000/ton. This adjustment is attributed to rising international molybdenum prices and follows Yusco’s price movements yesterday.

Last month, the 316L surcharge rose by NT$1,000/ton, showing its second consecutive monthly increase.
