The US Department of Commerce (USDOC) has initially decided to withdraw anti-dumping duties on certain carbon and alloy steel wire rod imports from South Korea and the UK based on the requirements from 6 domestic producers.

The USDOC has preliminarily determined that most domestic producers were not interested in the continued anti-dumping duty on these imports from South Korea and the UK.

In March this year, the final anti-dumping duty rate for South Korea was set at 41.10% and that for the UK was 147.63%.
