According to the preliminary results of the anti-dumping (AD) duty administrative review, the US Department of Commerce (USDOC) found that Mexico’s light-walled rectangular pipe and tube producers/exporters, Maquilacero/TEFLU and Regiopytsa sold their products at prices lower than the normal value during the period of review from August 1, 2021 to July 31, 2022.

As a result, Maquilacero/TEFLU was assigned a weighted-average dumping margin of 5.08%, Regiopytsa received 1.29%, and 16 other producers/exporters got a dumping margin of 3.19%.

The products involved are under the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS) subheadings 7306.61.5000 and 7306.61.7060.

This preliminary determination was applicable on September 8, 2023.
