Taiwan has good business opportunities for wind power and submarine cables due to its unique wind resources. Under this situation, Taiwan’s Walsin Liwha signed a contract with NKT HV Cables AB, which belongs to the Danish NKT Group, to expand new fields of renewable energy.

The signing of the contract means that Walsin had officially launched the submarine cable business and participated in the development and construction of energy transformation. This project is expected to be put into operation in 2027.
