It was reported the exports of Taiwan's hot-dip galvanized (HDG) coil and plate were down by 8.5% and the total imports reduced by more than 30% in January 2018.

According to the data in January from Taiwan Steel and Iron Industries Association, the exports of HDG coil and plate totaled around 95,000 tons which reduced by 8.5% month on month. The main export destinations were China, Belgium and Thailand. As for the HDG imports, the imports were about 7,000 tons which reduced by 35.2% month on month. The main import countries were Japan, South Korea and Germany.
