It’s reported that Taiwanese Mayer Steel Pipe planned to hike its October offer prices, after China Steel Corp. (CSC) and Chung Hung Steel, the two major upstream steelmakers in Taiwan announced to increase the October list prices.

However, the weak market demand in the Q3 may Mayer Steel Pipe's sales revenue drop month by month.

It’s known that Mayer Steel Pipe's August sales revenue was NT$480 million ,down by NT$60 million from that in July.

Furthermore, the company predicted that its September sales revenue would be lower than that in August. Also, its Q3 sales profits will lower than the Q2.

For the prospect, Mayer Steel Pipe said that the market was not clear in the Q4 due to the weak confidence in the current market sitaution.
