The market prices of steel plate have hiked to around US$715/ton in Taiwan. However, the prices would go up further unless destocking low-price steel plate from China wholly, said Taiwanese buyers.

Also, buyers indicated that the low-priced steel plates should be destocked before late April, expecting the price would go up to nearly US$730/ton next month.

All price adjustments would be confirmed after latest prices released by China Steel Corporation (CSC).
