It’s reported that South Korean Posco Specialty Steel announced to cut the domestic prices of austenitic stainless bar and wire rod by 150,000 won/ton for October delivery in response to slumped nickel prices and weak demand.

Also, this is the company’s first price cut since this July.

Besides, the company remained the domestic prices of ferritic products unchanged for October shipments.
