Though the India Supreme court extended the ban on mining in Chitradurag, Tumkur, and Bellary in Karnataka region, the ban is unlikely to affect JSW Steel, the nation's largest steelmaker.

The company has been receiving supplies from 25.88 million tons of iron ores kept in various mines for distributing among steel mills in the region.

Currently, JSW is operating at 80% capacity, and it will continue to run at this rate.
