Japan's Marubeni-Itochu Steel announced on May 31st that it will establish rebar processing companies in Indonesia with rebar makers, KRAKATAU WAJATAMA from Indonesia and NAT STEEL ASIA from Singapore as a joint venture.

The joint firm will have a factory with a designed capacity of yearly 70,000 tons processing capability in Jacarta city, and is estimated to be operated by the end of this year.
