JSW Steel’s shipment of iron ore at mines in Odisha exceeded 100,000 tons on a single day. These mines in Odisha were just acquired by JSW Steel in February 2019, including Narayanposi, Ganua, Nuagaon, and Jajang in Sundargarh District and Keonjhar District of Odisha, with a current reserve of 1.131 billion tons.

JSW Steel's iron ore supply was interrupted by the impact of the COVID-19 epidemic in 2020. However, the mines have been operated in full capacity in the past six months, with a planned annual output of 36 million tons.
