Uğur Dalbeler, ice president of the Turkish Steel Exporters' Association, indicated that the Ukraine-Russian war had reduced the global market supply. Therefore, India has imposed tariffs on steel-related exports to keep raw materials in the domestic market.

India is Turkey's main competitor in the global market, and this policy will raise export prices for Indian steel producers and increase the competitiveness of Turkey's steel industry globally.
