The price of wire rod from China to Taiwan market has been increased by US$20/ton for November due to the adjustment in the export tax rebate by the Chine government. Traders think the price of silicon killed wire rod is really very high and the current local price is only NT$100/ton higher. As a result the imports from China are expected to drop as there is no big price advantage. (Oct. 11)
