Recently, China’s export prices of steel plates to Taiwan have kept increasing.

This week, a Taiwanese buyer was informed by a trader that the Chinese steel plate prices would rise further by US$10/ton after a rise of US$10/ton in last week.

At present, China’s export prices of steel plates to Taiwan have come to US$570~US$585/ton C&F.

Traders indicated that the Chinese steelmakers would increase the steel prices rather than cutting the price further in order to avoid further loss.
