China announced additional tariffs on a list of products coming from the US in response to the trade policies imposed on Chinese goods by the American government. These tariffs are set to take effect next Monday, February 10. 

Among the products facing a new tariff of up to 15% are coal and liquefied natural gas, while agricultural machinery, trucks, and some luxury cars will see tariffs of up to 10%. 

China also issued a communication stating that the unilateral decision by the US to change previously established tariffs violates the agreements made within the World Trade Organization (WTO) framework. This action, they argue, hinders the economic relationship between the two major economies.
