China's HRC price is currently US$100/ton higher than international prices, as domestic demands picked up radically, and thus local mills would rather sell locally, instead of overseas.

The export offers from Chinese mills are higher US$500/ ton FOB, while other countries are offering around $430-450/ton FOB. Therefore, currently the China’s HRC is not competitive although the 5 percent export taxes have been cancelled by China’s government.
