According to the website of China’s National Food and Strategic Reserves Administration, the fourth batch of national reserves of copper, aluminum, and zinc, totaling 150,000 tons, have been released on October 9.

The move was to ensure the supply and stabilize prices of bulk commodities, alleviate enterprises’ pressure on costs of raw materials, as well as regulate the reserve market.

China’s National Food and Strategic Reserves Administration will continue the future national releases based on market supply and demand and price trends.
