Aluminum Corporation of China Limited (Chalco) expected its net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company to increase by 561-615% year on year to RMB 4.9 billion to RMB 5.3 billion, and the net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company after deducting non-recurring gains and losses will surge by 1,681-1,783% to RMB 7 billion to RMB 7.4 billion.

The expected performance was due to the fact that Chalco seizes the opportunity of high aluminum prices, reduced costs, and increased efficiency.
