Atrum Coal, an Australia-based mining company, announced on June 24th that it planned to launch the 2019 coking coal project at Elan coking coal mine.

The project was aimed at the original mining areas in Southern Alberta, Canada, including Elan mines.

Atrum Coal has been mining in this area since 2018 and the mining activity was expected to be continued until 2020. The coking coal produced from the mine will be exported to some Asian countries, including Japan.
