It was reported that the US lowered the anti-dumping (AD) duties on imported corrosion-resistant plates from Taiwan due to a ministerial error in the final results.

During the period of the review from July 1st, 2017 to June 30th, 2018, Prosperity Tieh Enterprise Co., Ltd. was initially assigned a weighted-average dumping margin of 3.48%. Due to the ministerial error in the calculation, Prosperity Tieh’s margin was lowered to 0.6%.

On the other hand, the duty rate for Sheng Yu Steel Co., Ltd. was kept unchanged at 6.84%, and that for Yieh Phui Enterprise Co., Ltd. and Synn Industrial Co., Ltd was at 0.51%.

The petitioners of the initial case were California Steel Industries (California Steel), Steel Dynamics, Inc. (Steel Dynamics) and AK Steel.
