According to the preliminary investigation of the Korea Trade Commission, China's imports of carbon steel and alloy steel hot-rolled thick plates are considered to be dumped. Therefore, in order to prevent further damage, South Korea announced on April 4 that it would impose temporary anti-dumping (AD) duties on such products, with a tax rate ranging from 27.91% to 38.02%. 

The provisional AD duty rate announced by the Ministry of Strategy and Finance is 27.91% for Baoshan Iron and Steel (Baosteel), 29.62% for Jiangsu Shagang, 38.02% for Xiangtan Iron and Steel, Sinohydro International, and Xiamen Itg Ai Cloud Solutions, and 31.69% for other suppliers. 

The provisional AD measure will take effect from April 24 and expire on August 23.
