Saudi Arabia recently announced three steel investment plans with a total investment of about SAR 35 billion. One of the investment plans is to build an integrated steel plant, which mainly produces steel for shipbuilding and oil pipelines. The annual output can reach 1.2 million tons.

In addition, another integrated steel plant mainly produces steel for automobiles, food packaging, household appliances, and water pipelines. After completion, it can have 4 million tons of hot-rolled coils, 1 million tons of cold-rolled coils, and 200,000 tons of tinplate products.

At the same time, Saudi Arabia also planned to build a circular iron block production plant with an annual output of 1 million tons after completion. The circular iron blocks can be used to produce seamless steel pipes.
