According to the announcement from Yang Ming Marine Transport Corp., one of the leading ocean shipping companies in Taiwan, its net operating profit after tax (NOPAT) in March showed NY$7.94 billion, increased by 2,046% year on year.

In the view of some of the institutions, the great demand for ocean shipping would further increase continuously in the rest of this year, and the high freight rate still hard to solve, which caused its’ stock price to skyrocket in the past several months.
