Yieh United Steel Corp. (Yusco), a leading stainless steel mill in Taiwan, announced its new prices for January 2021 today (December 30).

According to the price adjustment, the domestic prices of 304 hot-rolled and cold-rolled was up by NT$5,500/ton, and that of 430 hot-rolled and cold-rolled was hiked by NT$4,000/ton. The surcharge of 316L was subject to an increase of NT$1,000/ton.

As for the export price, it was raised in a range from US$200-250/ton, depending on regions and customers, and prices for 400 series were up by US$150/ton.

Yusco said that it hasn’t totally reflected all the increases in production costs of alloy raw materials and scrap steel. This moderate adjustment was done under the consideration of downstream competitiveness.
