It’s reported that Taiwan’s export prices of large-size wire rods with diameters larger than 14mm hit the lowest level since this year in October.

In fact, Taiwan’s export prices of large-size wire rods had remained at around NT$25,000/ton since this year. However, it started to drop from October. The export prices in October averaged at NT$23,956/ton.

Industry sources indicated that China Steel Corp. (CSC)’s price cut for wire rods have depressed the Taiwanese wire rod exports prices. Furthermore, the wire rod export prices may slide further.
