Due to the negative impact from the unclear economic situation from the EU countries, most of carbon steel re-rolling mills in Taiwan have received fewer orders than the expected.

In order to pass though the tough time, several re-rolling mills in Taiwan including Yieh Phui, Chung Hung Steel and Sysco have planned to cut their production by 20%~30% in June.

Chung Hung Steel said that the company's received order volumes and shipments in June will be lower than that in May.

Yieh Phui said that it will cut production by 20%~30% and it might have the equipment renew schedule for one of its hot dipped galvanized production line recently.

Sysco said if the company continues to receive few orders from overseas markets in July, it will consider cutting production to avoid further loss.
