It is said that Poseidon Nickel is trying to aquire a significant project in Western Australia. the project is near Laverton in the north eastern Goldfields.

Poseidon has temporarily stopped the development work at Windarra because of the sharply decreasing nickel price. However, although the metal price is depressed, the new resources will be helpful to the economics of the Windarra project. The shares in the Poseidon Nickel soared as much as 28%.
