It’s reported that the market situation of carbon steel plate has remained slack worldwide.

Right now, Chinese and South Korean offer of hot rolled coil (HRC) are quoted at US$620~US$630/ton CFR and US$640/ton CFR respectively.

However, Taiwan HRC price is quoted at US$640/ton FOB, much higher than the counterpart from China and South Korea.

With the coming end of the year, many buyers decreased the quantity to purchase which made the market comparatively stable.
