South Korea was the biggest buyer for China's hot rolled coils and semi-finished products in May.

Base on China Custom's statistics, South Korea imported about 483,000 tons of hot rolled coils with width up 600mm, which increased by 33.7 percent compared the same period of last year.

China's export of hot rolled coil in May was totaled 1.62 million tons. Meanwhile, Italy imported 192,700 tons, and Belgium imported 151,700 tons.

Taking January to May this year, China's export was 7.19 million tons, and the shipments to South Korea were 2.6 million tons, which increased by 70 percent compared to the same period of last year.
