ArcelorMittal, the world's leading steel and mining company has recently closed down few of its mills worldwide due to slow demand.

However, the steel giant decided to develop gradual strong growing aspect of Algeria market with their government supports.

This new plan will set a joint venture with Algerian public group as 70% owned by ArcelorMittal and 30% by Algeria side to accelerate its current annual production volumes from fewer than one million tons to 1.4 million tons in order to assist domestic demand and imports reduction.
