Zijin Mining will acquire approximately 28.5 million Solaris Resources shares at C$4.55 per share as one of its affiliates invests through a private placement of common shares.

Solaris will use the funds to advance its flagship Warintza copper project in southeastern Ecuador. The Warintza deposit was discovered in 2000 by David Lowell, but it was idle for 20 years due to lower acceptance in local communities.
