According to the report from German Verband Der Automobilindustrie (VDA) on December 5th, the total sales of the new cars in the world of this year would be dropped by 5%, and would also expect to further decline in 2020 by 1%, to less than 79 million units.

The data showed that the total sales of the new cars in 2019 might be around 80 million units, dropped 4.1 million units year on year, and also the largest decline since 2009.

However, the main decline region was China, with around 10% range, and 2% in the US, and remained flat in the EU.

There were over 75% of the car production in Germany was for exporting, during the declining trend, Germany’s exports of car would be dropped by 12% year on year this year.
