The US International Trade Commission (USITC) determined that the US industry was hurt by imports of seamless refined copper pipe and tube from Vietnam for those were seen sold in the US at less than fair prices.

Based upon the USITC's affirmative determination, the US Department of Commerce (USDOC) will keep its investigation of imports of seamless refined copper pipe and tube from Vietnam. The preliminary anti-dumping duty determination will be due on or about December 7, 2020.

The probe will involve all seamless circular refined copper pipes and tubes, such as redraw hollows, greater than or equal to 6 inches in length and outside diameter less than 12.13 inches, regardless of wall thickness, etc.
