The US State Department and Treasury Department have announced comprehensive sanctions on over 500 individuals and entities associated with Russian military operations. There are several new mining and metals sector companies.

In terms of metals and mining sectors, the list includes gold producer Uzhuralzoloto, Russia's largest pipe producer Pipe Metallurgical Company, aluminum products producer Samara Metallurgical Plant, major Russian steelmaker Mechel, coal producer SUEK, Rheingold Edelmetall, a Liechtenstein-based precious metals investment firm.
