According to the preliminary data from the US Department of Commerce (USDOC), US OCTG imports in October plummeted by 51.5% year on year to 67,600 tons.

Among them, imports from South Korea dropped the most, by nearly 19,000 tons to 9,600 tons, and those from Germany and Thailand even decreased to near zero compared to the same month a year ago.

In terms of line pipes, the US imported around 68,000 tons, down by 23.3% year on year.

Of these, imports of unspecified diameter line pipes slid by 37.4% year on year to 21,400 tons. Imports of line pipes with a diameter of 16 inches or less dropped 37% year on year to 23,000 tons, and those with a diameter greater than 16 inches grew by 31% to 23,400 tons.
