On May 20, 2021, the US Court of International Trade (CIT) made a final ruling regarding the anti-dumping duty (AD) investigation on carbon and alloy steel wire rod from Turkey, covering the period of investigation from January 1, 2016 to December 31, 2016. However, the CIT’s final ruling was not in harmony with the US Department of Commerce (USDOC)'s amended final determination, and the USDOC is amending the amended final determination and the AD order on Turkish producers and exporters. The CIT directed the USDOC to recalculate the duty rates for Habas and Icdas using a different calculation methodology.

According to the amendment, the weighted-average dumping margin for Habas was set at 0%, and that for Icdas and all other Turkish producers/exporters was at 4.44%. Besides, the cash deposit rate for Icdas and all other Turkish producers/exporters was 0.65%.
