According to the final results of the administrative review released on April 16, 2025, the US Department of Commerce (USDOC) determined that certain South Korean producers/exporters of stainless steel sheet and strip in coils received countervailable subsidies during the period of review from January 1, 2022, to December 31, 2022.

Hyundai BNG Steel Co., Ltd. received a subsidy rate of 0.57%, and Hyundai Steel Company and Geumok Tech. Co., Ltd. will be subject to a duty rate of 2.47% and 17.04%, respectively.

Meanwhile, Samsung STS Co., Ltd. (Samsung STS) had no shipments during the review period, so the administrative review on this company was rescinded.
